The second Asian Winter Games was held in Sapporo Japan again on March 9, 1990, with 1000 athletes from 10 countries and regions participating in the games.

 
 
  The third Asian Winter Games was held in Harbin China on February 4, 1996, with 500 athletes from 17 countries and regions participating in the games.
 

The fourth Asian Winter Games was held in Kangwon Korea on January 30, 1999, with 798 athletes from 21 countries and regions participating in the games.

 
 
  The fifth Asian Winter Games was held in Sapporo Japan on March 1, 1986, with 300 athletes from 7 countries and regions participating in the games.
 

The sixth Asian Winter Games was held in Changchun China in January, 2007.
