Location Located in the Heilongjiang Radio and TV Broadcasting Center, 1 km from Harbin OC Office Building and 2 km from FISU Headquarters Hotel, the Main IBC for Harbin 24th Winter Universiade covers an area of 1,000 m2. It is equipped with TV signal control system which receives signals from all competition venues, the post-production system including 30 editing machines, and several HD studios. FISU TV Broadcasting Office and the on-site working offices of TV Broadcast Department of Harbin OC and the host broadcasters are also in the IBC, providing foreign TV media with broadcasting and technical services. The services include signal transmission, program production and equipment rental. Meanwhile, telecommunication, competition information inquiry, transportation, refreshment, lounge areas and other supportive services are available in the Main IBC.

Optical fiber is applied to realize signal transmission between the Main IBC and the Sub-IBC, as well as between the Main IBC and the competition venues in downtown Harbin.

Short Information The Main IBC in downtown Harbin could provide TV media with HD TV signal services and such services are also available in the Sub-IBC for snow sports in Yabuli. Other services such as the non-linear editing, studios, ENG rental and technical assistance, as well as signal transmission and broadcasting services will all be provided during the games. The need of TV media for program production and broadcast will be fully met. At the competition venues, commentary positions and uni-income will also be offered accordingly.
