Initially built in 1990 and later joined to the Eastern Mosque, the Female Mosque was installed with a women’s shower room. For religious services, the hall would be separated by a curtain. At present, rare handwritten copies of the Koran and ancient-styled private school textbooks – The Variorum of the Four Books – published in 1858 (the 8th year of Xianfeng Period), etc. are treasured up in the mosque.Pukui Mosque, one of the largest, fully intact mosques in Heilongjiang Province, is one of the sites to be protected at provincial level, which holds significant value in the study and research of religious history as well as architectural art.
