April 11th,2008,the 24th Winter Universiade OC,Harbin held the volunteers recruitment ceremony as the theme slogan’Vying for volunteers to serve the Winter Universiade’ in Heilongjiang University.Mr Cheng Youdong,Vice-Governor of Heilongjiang Province , Executive Vice-president of the Winter Universiade OC, and other relevant leaders attended the ceremony.The 2009 Winter Universiade volunteers ,Beijing Olympic games volunteers and the provincial college students joined this activity.
On the ceremony,the Vice-Secretary of the Winter Universiade OC, Meng Fanjie announced the decision on establishing the volunteers recruitment post,which was given nameboard by the relevant leaders.And then, the leaders awarded the certificates to the first draft of pre-games volunteers.
